Here’s a few Boulder blogs that recently caught my eye.

BrdPics. According to his bio, Bill Schmoker is into birding, bird photography, and… mountain unicycling. Not sure about the last one, but his birding website is filled with amazing bird photography, much of it shot locally. His images remind me to slow down a bit and take a closer look at some of our amazing feathered friends in and around Boulder.

Mud and Cowbells
. Into the mind of a Boulder athlete. Greg is a self described cyclist, husband, daddy, and software geek. I’m passionate about cycling too, though admittedly a few rungs down from Greg’s competitive edge. You’re more likely to find me riding around Boulder on a 35 year old Hercules or towing my golden retriever on the cruiser ride. With that said, since we now have two triathletes in our client roster (we’ll introduce you soon), maybe I should learn more about the sport.

Ben Casnocha. He’s a tech entrepreneur, founding his first company at the age of 12. Now he’s working with Boulder VCs, and he’s a mentor in TechStars. And Ben’s still only 18 years old. For some reason, his blog is down this morning but here’s a recent bio.

The Boulder Report. A recent entry, this three month old effort has been posting intriguing reviews on.. well, everything Boulder. The recent post on Khow Thai was spot on. I wonder if they’ll soon run out of material (Boulder is a small city, after all) but still worth a look.

We can highly recommend Sophie. Her attention to detail and communication skills are great. Our home was in area that most realtors are not familiar with, but Sophie took extra time to get to know the neighborhood in order to give us quality service. She also brought in a professional photographer to make our home look its best. Even though the listing was in winter, the house sold quickly. With Sophie’s business and people skills, we have no doubt she will be a top realtor in the area.

Osman was a refreshingly honest realtor. He stressed through the entire process that his goal was to make me happy with my home purchase. I greatly appreciated the fact that he never shied away from pointing out the negatives as well as the pluses of different places while leaving the final decision up to me.
