Season’s Greetings!

|December 24, 2013|Uncategorized|

by Osman Parvez

As the year draws to a close and holiday parties wrap up in Boulder, I’m reminded of our community’s diversity.    This year, I’ve attended celebrations for Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice, Christmas, Giftmas, Kwanzaa, Eid, and yes even Festivus.

People from outside of Boulder sometimes say that our community lacks diversity.    The truth is that diversity goes deeper than skin color and much further than ethnicity.   Diversity of thought, tradition, and belief are, in some ways, more important.  In this sense, Boulder is wonderfully open minded and rich with diversity.

Gratitude, even for our furry friends

Spend some time here and you’ll find Jews, Christians, and Muslims – but you’ll also meet Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains.   You’ll run into Secular Humanists,  Atheists, and Agnostics.     You’ll meet people who practice Wicca or follow Native American traditions from the Objibwe and the Lakota. They’re all a part of our community.

This is the time of year that I look back with a profound sense of gratitude.   One of the best parts of my job is getting to know and become friends with people from many walks of life.  No matter what you celebrate, or even if you celebrate nothing at all, I want you to know that I deeply appreciate your friendship. I’m glad you’re part of our community.

Happy holidays to all!

Testimonials

We can highly recommend Sophie. Her attention to detail and communication skills are great. Our home was in area that most realtors are not familiar with, but Sophie took extra time to get to know the neighborhood in order to give us quality service. She also brought in a professional photographer to make our home look its best. Even though the listing was in winter, the house sold quickly. With Sophie’s business and people skills, we have no doubt she will be a top realtor in the area.

Osman was a refreshingly honest realtor. He stressed through the entire process that his goal was to make me happy with my home purchase. I greatly appreciated the fact that he never shied away from pointing out the negatives as well as the pluses of different places while leaving the final decision up to me.
