The Best of Denver Real Estate [Eye Candy]

|November 12, 2018|Denver, Real Estate|

by Sophie Kloor

I love Boulder: the land of Flatirons, yoga pants, wheatgrass, and puffy coats. However, I have been craving city life and and this past September I purchased a lovely home in City Park West. This move to Denver has created an opportunity for me to further my understanding of the Denver real estate market – and I am increasingly captivated by all that this city offers.

I’ve been discovering different neighborhoods, eateries, coffee shops and, best of all, awesome properties. The Denver market is vast and has options for every type of buyer, at every price point. I’ve shown property all over the city, and my favorite neighborhoods include City Park West, Uptown, RiNo, Capitol Hill, Congress Park and The Golden Triangle. The mixture of historic old Denver and newer urban environments in these neighborhoods makes them refreshing and desirable.

I’m ecstatic to be representing House Einstein throughout the Denver area.

Below you’ll find my pick of the finest properties currently on market in Denver. From an entry-level, exquisitely designed studio to a stunningly constructed modern home, there are many diverse options available as we wrap up 2018.

If you or someone you know is looking to buy or sell in the Denver or Boulder area, I’d be thrilled to assist them in the process. Call 303.875.3140 to arrange a private viewing with a discussion of design, location, functionality, due diligence and more.

Modern Beauties

Whittier – 3107 N Humboldt Street

This modernist series of new build houses, named The Canvas Homes, was designed by Christian Butler of Studio Limited and architect Michael P. Johnson. These first caught my eye last spring. The properties are sleek, clean and beautifully executed. 3107 N Humboldt features 4 beds and 5 baths, with a bonus ADU above the detached 2 car garage. The finishes are elegant and the floor plan is highly functional, with a walk out, bright basement. I toured this property at golden hour and was enamored with the interior light play from the floor to ceiling windows. I was truly amazed by its tasteful mix of modern and cozy design. It’s located within a short distance to Five Points and Downtown.

Listed for $1.3MM

This new development in the Highlands is unique and striking. Atria consists of four townhomes, designed by the award winning architects at Meridian 105. Unit #4 is the largest with 3 beds, 3 baths and 2,400 sq ft. In addition to its striking angles, warm materials, and heaps of natural light, this property has a gorgeous, functional interior and is bound to turn heads.

P.S. That gorgeous kitchen in the cover photo? It’s within this unit.

Observatory Park – 2285 S Jackson Street

A lock and leave, turn-key, and spacious single family home in a quiet neighborhood. I’m impressed with the finish quality and tasteful mix of exterior materials. It has 4 beds, 7 baths (one for each day of the week!) and a generous 6,100 finished sq ft. The open floor plan is an entertainer’s dream. Originally listed for $2.45MM, two price drops later, it’s now offered at $2.29MM. Considering the demand for high quality construction, this price point is compelling for all that you get.

The central Uptown location is an added perk as you can walk to coffee shops, bars, fantastic restaurants, and City Park. This property is perfect for a young professional and has strong rental potential. It’s been on the market quite a while…do I smell a discount?
