Live Like Royalty In Cherry Hills [Denver – Fresh Listings]

|June 8, 2019|Denver|

— by Sophie Kloor

Yesterday morning I had the joy of closing a deal with clients I met at an open house nearly two years ago. They went through a long journey of searching for the perfect home for their large and lovely family. Last September, they went under contract on a to be built new construction home in Longmont. It was recently completed, and yesterday we finally reached the finish line.

Our closer and I chatted throughout the closing and she was pleasantly surprised to learn that I work all over Colorado. She expressed in detail how many agents she meet limit themselves to one small area of service. The bottom line? Many agents don’t want to ever be outside of their comfort zones, and only wish to serve one or two very specific communities. I wholeheartedly believe that the more Colorado towns and communities I know inside and out, the more value I bring to my clients. This year alone I’ve sold homes in Boulder, Denver, and Longmont, not to mention worked with clients as far south as Castle Rock and far west in search of the perfect mountain property. I will never limit myself to one specific area, as each part of our state can offer a specific adventure to each client.

This post however, is dedicated to all things Denver. That’s why you’re reading, right?! I’ve featured a truly epic Cherry Hills estate, an airy townhome, and single family houses. Ready for some new Denver inventory? C’mon, let’s do it!

Fresh Listings

5000 E Quincy Avenue | $11.9MM | Details

Wow! Check out this truly one of a kind opportunity to purchase one of the most grand estates in the Denver area. This massive 6 bedroom, 11 bathroom, 24,000 sqft home sits on 9 stunning acres, and features some truly breathtaking landscaping, not to mention your own personal lake. The interior feels more like an elite country club than anything else, with outrageously grand wood work and high end finishes oozing from every inch. This elegant entertainers dream is far from ordinary. Need space for your car collection? Don’t worry, the 10 car attached garage with a built in car wash should suffice…hopefully.

Heads up: This property was first listed for $15.9MM in September of 2017. One giant $4MM price cut later and it’s offered for a somewhat more realistic asking. With a price cut that large, the sellers are signaling some motivation.

1800 Little Raven Street | $3.37MM | Details

This is the premier Riverfront townhome. This rarely available end unit faces coveted Riverfront Park and is the perfect low maintenance, luxury option for an inspiring, urban and active city lifestyle. With 4,000 sqft, this spacious property lives like a detached home. Exquisite modern finishes flow throughout the space, featuring 5 outdoor spaces including a rooftop deck. It also comes with a private 3 car garage. Run along the South Platte River, or stroll to countless dining and entertainment options.

1639 Osceola Street | $1.42MM | Details

Here’s a brand new detached home only three residences away from our cherished Sloans Lake! For a home of this size with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 3,800 sqft in a location this killer, it’s absolutely priced well. Expect it to move quickly, as demand in Sloans has exploded in the past few years. Interior finishes are crisp yet warm, with a tasteful blend of wood and modern accents, perfectly on trend. Small design details like a herringbone backsplash and black fireplace go a long way and resonate with design nerds like myself! Sip your morning coffee on the deck, overlooking the lake. Call me for a private showing.

3926 Kalamath Street | $1.05MM | Details

I get the feeling the photos of this new home in Sunnyside don’t do it justice. It’s shining with elegant design choices, mixed with a highly functional layout. Want some examples? Check out the hex tile flowing into the hardwood, the wine cellar under the stairs (normally wasted space), or the garage door in the living room, bringing the outdoors in. Sunnyside is only improving with heaps of new development, plus it’s close to the light rail and an easy commute for those who work downtown.

Pro tip: My favorite part of this home is the front bedroom + full bath. Hidden in the entry hallway is a pocket door that can close and lock off the rest of the house, making it a perfect short term rental or private guest suite.

1436 S Elm Street | $770K | Details

Mid century modern fans unite! Krisana Park is for you and this home is ready for its next loving owner. This cute, vaulted 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ranch has a standard layout, one that works well for many families as the living spaces flow together, and bedrooms are all in one end of the home. The finishes are current enough and the lot is a decent size.

Due diligence: Check with the planning department about adding a garage. My one negative critique on Krisana mid century homes is their frequent lack of garages. Us Denverites need a place to store our toys!
