NOTABLE SALE: 1380 Riverside Avenue | $865K 

An 80’s era two-story in Wildwood, the neighborhood directly east of Wonderland Lake. It was a small but tasteful property and likely a rental for many years. Finishes were well worn, and the house begged for updating, but the backyard was directly adjacent to open space and a riparian corridor. Lot size was tiny, and likely, further expansion was limited accordingly.  

My buyers were preparing to offer when it became clear that we were going to be outgunned. It’s sad to watch this one go, but perhaps also prudent. I think this sale pushes the comp fairly strongly given the other recent sale on the street was far more updated.
