According to the Denver Business Journal, State and Federal authorities have begun a crackdown on mortgage fraud activity in Colorado. A few hundred cases have apparently been tied to a handful of agents, brokers, and providers of false documents. Colorado has been a hot spot for mortgage fraud in the last few years.
