This Weekends Events

In addition to Carmina Burana (did I mention I’m singing?), here’s a few more ideas for this weekend.

Friday (5/19) and Saturday (5/20) is the 8th annual Kitchens on Fire Tour. It’s a two-day, self-guided tour (10am to 4pm) of eight Boulder kitchens for the aspiring chef, designer, home re-modeler or anyone interested in seeing spectacular kitchens. Tickets are only $15 and proceeds support the Dairy Center for the Arts.

Saturday, May 20th is the 4th Annual Boulder Cleanup Day. Volunteer a few hours of your time to help beautify Boulder and then celebrate with all the other volunteers afterward. All participants get a one day pass to Boulder Reservoir, and a few other goodies (bright green shirt, anybody?). You can register online or call 303-441-3200 by Friday, May 20th. I’ll be helping cleanup Martin Park with the Martin Acres Neighborhood Association.

Growing Gardens is having their Annual Plant Sale this weekend 5/20 and 5/21) from 9am to 4pm. Last year we picked up a few different varieties for our little patch in North Boulder. Plenty of selection and helps support a great cause. It’s located in Boulder in the parking lot on the northeast corner of Broadway and Iris — that’s the parking lot of the Boulder County North Broadway Complex. See poster below.

Testimonials

Osman was a refreshingly honest realtor. He stressed through the entire process that his goal was to make me happy with my home purchase. I greatly appreciated the fact that he never shied away from pointing out the negatives as well as the pluses of different places while leaving the final decision up to me.

We can highly recommend Sophie. Her attention to detail and communication skills are great. Our home was in area that most realtors are not familiar with, but Sophie took extra time to get to know the neighborhood in order to give us quality service. She also brought in a professional photographer to make our home look its best. Even though the listing was in winter, the house sold quickly. With Sophie’s business and people skills, we have no doubt she will be a top realtor in the area.
